The state of alarm in the entire country of Spain has ended today June 21, 2020. Each autonomous region has now its own freedom to implement its regulations. In Madrid, a new normality has been established in two phases. The first phase will take effect from June 21 to July 5 and the second phase, from July 6, although still there are some restrictions. The establishments in closed spaces is now limited to 60% capacity and it will increase to 75% on July 6. While the establishments with open areas, mainly terraces, the occupation will be 80% and 100% on July 6. The use of a face mask is mandatory if the minimum social distance of 1.5 meters is impossible to maintain.  These regulation is also applicable in tourist accommodation, commercial and retail establishments, shopping centers, parks, libraries, archives, monuments, museums, cinemas, theaters, auditoriums, covered sports facilities, betting and gaming establishments, academies, driving schools and unregulated training, fairs, congresses and events, amusement parks, zoos, aquariums and in bullrings.
