As with the latest franchise of Endgame Avengers, Thanos is a fictional villain character created and published by Marvel Comics. He believes that by using the power of Infinity Stones he can save the universe by wiping out half of the total population. In Avengers Infinity War, he acquired all 6 infinity stones. At the end of the movie, Thanos decimate half of the universe with a single snap of his fingers and turn into dust.
In Avengers Endgame, Thanos chose to have a simple life. However, he was attacked by the remaining Avengers on his farm. He confessed that he destroyed the Infinity Stones to avoid further temptation and beheaded by Thor.
Five years later, Antman brought the idea of quantum realm time travel to reverse Thanos’ snap and hoping to bring back to life those who were killed. Tony designed handmade Infinity Gauntlet and Avengers build a time machine to find the scattered Infinity Stones. Thanos version of 2014 learnt the plan of Avengers through the future Nebula and she was captured. Thanos tasks the 2014 Nebula to travel the future and bring his army.
Thanos arrives while Hulk uses the gathered stones trying to restore those who were killed before by the snap of his finger. However, Thanos attacks the Avengers to take back the stones in order to destroy and recreate the universe. During the battle between Thanos’ army and the Avengers and their allies, Ironman gains control of the Infinity Stones. Ironman sacrifice his life to snap Thanos and his forces away that lead them to win the war and saves the universe.
