I would like to share the information that if you want to come here in Spain on a tourist visa, you can apply for student visa within 30 days upon arrival as an option to legalize your status. It is the government’s new imposed law or since 2019. The following are the requirements and in which you can get the approval in 2weeks or within a month from the day of its submission: health insurance certificate medical certificate translated NBI/police clearance bank statement/certificate with 10,000€ (as show money) visa letter from the university (requires enrollment fee) valid passport (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); In my case, it was already after 5 months upon my arrival here when we consulted a lawyer and have asked for advice how I can change or legalize my status. She said one of the options is to apply for a student visa and wait 7 to 8 months to get the result. I did take the risk despite the tedious months of waiting and voila, I’ve got the approval now even with the pandemia!
